About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop chilled display cabinet solutions using 3D CAD tools
Ensure products meet customer, manufacturing and performance requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders locally and across the wider Epta Group
Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs and product data for manufacturing and product lifecycle management
Apply sheet metal design and manufacturing process knowledge to develop cost-effective products
Manage short-term projects from concept through completion, meeting quality, cost and timescale targets
Ensure compliance with company procedures
Support continuous improvement and customer-focused solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficiency in 3D CAD design software, preferably Solid Edge
Ability to prioritise workloads and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes
Located within a reasonable commuting distance of the Bradford site
Experience using SAP, MRP systems and BOM management systems preferred
Refrigeration or electrical engineering knowledge preferred
