About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure proper bookkeeping and accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and internal Group guidelines.
Perform account reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and analyses.
Prepare the weekly cash forecast and other relevant reports and analyses.
Coordinate accounting processes and serve as the point of contact for other departments and the Accounts Payable Shared Service Center.
Manage guarantees and sureties.
Act as a point of contact for auditors, banks, and other external partners.
Contribute to the optimization of finance processes and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Commercial training with further qualification as a certified balance sheet accountant (IHK), or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting.
Several years of professional experience in financial and balance sheet accounting, along with in-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with HGB.
Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP, and advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical thinking and an independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Business-fluent German and very good written and spoken English.
