About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide day-to-day technical support to internal staff through in-person interaction in the office
- Support walk-up customers at a Tech Bar
- Install end-user computing devices in offices and cubes
- Image laptops and provision new systems
- Deliver new equipment, including laptops and accessories, within agreed service levels
- Provide audio/visual support
- Provision mobile phones
- Maintain and troubleshoot printers
- Troubleshoot laptop, mobile phone, printer, hardware, software, and network-access issues
- Provide technical support to employees with a high level of customer service
- Perform asset disposition by removing hard drives and recording serial numbers in the asset management system
- Provide support at the three St. Louis offices based on staffing needs
- Work closely with customers to resolve hardware, software, and network-access requests or problems
Requirements
What you’ll need- 0-1 years of experience in a technical support role, including basic hardware and software troubleshooting
- Associate's degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred or equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge of IT Fundamentals
- Strong customer-centric mindset and ability to fulfill commitments and deliver results
- Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude to streamline and automate workflows
- Audio Visual troubleshooting support for large conference rooms
- Operating knowledge of MacOS and Windows 11 laptop and desktop support
- Experience with iPhone and Android mobile devices
- General knowledge of desktop and Cloud applications, such as Google Workspace
- Technical school degree, Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- CompTIA A+ and/or Microsoft certification
- Mac and/or JAMF experience
- Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Software troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in person 5 days per week, Monday-Friday
- Flexibility to travel between the Clayton, Rider Trail, and Lackland offices during the week
- Must not require immigration sponsorship, including current or future F-1 STEM OPT extension support
- In-person interviews are required
