About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, implement, and maintain systems, frameworks, and automated scripts for model validation testing, inventory management, and continuous monitoring
Refactor algorithms, scripts, and queries to improve efficiency and optimize information processing
Build reproducible routines for advanced testing, such as backtesting, model performance analysis, and stability analysis
Implement and operate MRM solutions integrated with Cloud environments, using Git version control best practices
Conduct research and optimize structured and unstructured data sources
Serve as a subject-matter reference for coding standards, script architecture, and programming best practices within the MRM team
Perform code reviews and mentor mid-level and junior analysts
Lead the technical documentation of pipelines and code, collaborating with Data Engineering and Analytics teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python
Complex query optimization
Big Data manipulation
Performance tuning for relational databases and data warehouses
Hands-on experience automating analytical processes
Experience optimizing model pipelines
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
Previous experience in Model Risk Management (MRM), Statistical Modeling, Model Validation, or Data Engineering/Analytics in large-scale environments
