About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and support agile software development teams
Drive the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance, scalable applications
Manage team performance, people, budgets, and technical direction
Collaborate with architects, SREs, product managers, and other stakeholders
Mentor software engineers, quality engineers, and site reliability engineers through performance management, coaching, and career development
Lead .NET developers and provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews
Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices
Design and develop complex, scalable, and secure applications using .NET technologies
Architect and implement microservices and serverless solutions on GCP
Ensure applications meet performance, security, and scalability requirements
Drive adoption of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code practices
Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications using GCP services
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning
Resolve complex technical issues through root cause analysis and effective solutions
Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues
Participate in project planning, estimation, user story grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Document code and processes for knowledge transfer and team efficiency
Contribute to the technical roadmap and architectural vision
Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and application performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree with 10-14 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 5 years managing offshore teams
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, with proven experience implementing Scrum practices
Strong understanding of software development, cloud technologies, and project management tools such as Jira, Asana, and Trello
Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams, including performance management, coaching, and hiring
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
10+ years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server
3+ years of experience with cloud platforms, with GCP preferred, including designing and deploying cloud-native applications
3+ years of experience with source code management (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
GCP Cloud Certification
UI development experience with HTML, JavaScript, Angular, or Bootstrap
Experience in Agile environments such as Scrum or XP
Relational database experience such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL
Experience with Atlassian tooling such as JIRA, Confluence, and Github
Working knowledge of Python, APIGEE, and Kubernetes deployment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to work well in a team
