About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the operational leader and steward of the Hampton GA Equinix campus
Provide overall campus oversight across Facilities Management, Security Operations, Customer Engagement, Vendor Management, and site governance
Coordinate with internal teams, joint venture partners, landlords, service providers, and customers
Maintain oversight of leased, owned, and hybrid campus real estate interests
Manage relationships with tenants, property management organizations, and joint venture partners
Monitor campus agreements, site obligations, easements, property requirements, and governance considerations
Partner with corporate real estate, legal, finance, and operations teams on site strategy, lease administration, renewals, and campus expansion
Liaise with Facilities Management service providers and oversee contractual obligations, service levels, vendor performance, issue resolution, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement
Establish vendor accountability mechanisms and performance metrics
Develop, manage, and oversee campus operating and facilities-related budgets
Analyze expenditures, forecast requirements, identify cost optimization opportunities, and report budget performance to leadership
Champion customer engagement and improve customer satisfaction
Address customer concerns and serve as the senior point of contact for escalations
Build customer and stakeholder relationships and communicate operational activities, service impacts, planned maintenance, capital projects, and campus initiatives
Represent customer interests in operational planning while balancing business objectives, compliance, and risk management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Progressive experience in facilities, campus operations, property management, data center operations, corporate real estate, or related operational environments; typically 8+ years
People leadership, matrix leadership, or management of outsourced service providers; typically 3+ years
Experience managing large-scale operational budgets and vendor contracts
Experience coordinating cross-functional operational activities across multiple stakeholder groups
Experience working within leased, owned, or multi-party real estate environments
Experience leading operational governance, risk management, and service delivery programs
Knowledge of facilities operations and maintenance programs
Knowledge of vendor governance and contract performance management
Experience managing customer escalations and stakeholder communications
Understanding of lease obligations, property agreements, and operational compliance requirements
Experience with financial planning, forecasting, budget management, and cost optimization
Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance through metrics and reporting
