About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create purchase requisitions for country/region expenses within a limited scope
Monitor purchase order quality and provide KPI reporting to improve processes
Work with requestors to ensure purchase orders are receipted correctly and timely
Update commitment values versus purchase orders and assess commitments against budget with Ops Finance/General Ledger
Ensure compliance of purchase requests, contracts/legal approvals, accounting codes, and competitive bids
Contact vendors for invoices where necessary
Resolve billing and invoice problems related to country/region expenses
Run and provide purchase order commitment reporting to Data Center teams
Update purchase order information and reallocate funds when communicated by Data Center teams
Support vendors as key point of contact for query resolution, working closely with Accounts Payable
Act as the link between the business and finance to meet commitments

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years of related experience preferred
Finance or Accounting background preferred
Create purchase requisitions for country/region expenses
Monitor purchase order quality and provide KPI reporting
Ensure compliance with purchase requests, contracts/legal approvals, accounting codes, and competitive bids
Navigate commitment tracking reports and update purchase order information
Work closely with Accounts Payable and Data Center teams
