About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end implementation and operation of SailPoint IdentityNow, including design, deployment and optimization
Develop and support custom workflows, integrations and automations using APIs, scripting and event-driven patterns
Manage identity lifecycle and governance for human and non-human identities, including service accounts, APIs, bots and AI agents
Configure and maintain integrations with AD, Workday, ServiceNow, databases and REST services
Implement and optimize access certifications, role models and compliance controls
Troubleshoot complex identity and access issues and drive root-cause resolution
Contribute to an automation-first IAM strategy by reducing manual operations through scalable engineering solutions
Partner with SRE, infrastructure and application teams on identity integrations and migrations
Produce technical documentation and support secure development, testing and code reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years experience in IAM/IGA
2+ years on SailPoint IdentityNow
Strong hands-on expertise with IdentityNow, including workflows, connectors, roles and certifications
Experience with APIs, JSON, REST integrations, Postman, and scripting (Java, PowerShell or similar)
Experience integrating enterprise applications including AD, Workday, ServiceNow, databases and SaaS apps
Strong understanding of cloud identity architectures and distributed systems
Familiarity with OAuth2, OIDC, client credentials and app-to-app authentication
Experience with automation and DevSecOps tooling
Experience managing non-human identities and machine-to-machine authentication at scale
Understanding of AI/ML in identity security, including risk-based access, anomaly detection and behavioral analytics
Exposure to identity governance for AI agents
Knowledge of Zero Trust and Just-in-Time (JIT) access models
Familiarity with API security and identity orchestration patterns
Awareness of AI security risks
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Strong analytical, communication and cross-team collaboration skills
SailPoint IdentityNow Certification preferred
Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CCSP are a plus
