About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary finance thought partner to executive leaders in Global Product, DIO (IT), and Corporate Functions
- Shape strategic priorities, growth agendas, and investment decisions
- Challenge assumptions, surface blind spots, and influence executive decisions through insight
- Participate as a full member of the functional leadership team and contribute to business strategy
- Frame consequential decisions, define options, and establish decision criteria and trade-offs
- Set the analytical agenda and commission modeling and analysis from the FP&A Center of Excellence
- Translate analytical output into recommendations and ensure decision quality, pace, and follow-through
- Define forward-looking business and economic models for new markets, pricing, partnerships, and operating model shifts
- Shape scenario and sensitivity frameworks and interpret long-range, competitive, market, and macroeconomic signals
- Co-own functional strategy and long-range planning with business leadership
- Advise on growth, portfolio, capability-building, and build/buy/partner choices
- Guide allocation of capital, talent, and management attention
- Challenge and endorse major business cases based on strategic merit and expected value
- Advocate for reallocation from lower-value activities and advise on structural economics
- Sponsor post-decision reviews
- Partner with the FP&A Center of Excellence on planning cycles, forecasting, model building, reporting, and data management
- Set priorities and service expectations with Center of Excellence leadership
- Lead and develop a senior strategic finance business partnering team
- Build a culture of curiosity, constructive challenge, speed, collaboration, and accountability
- Develop finance talent and succession for partnering roles
- Foster an operating rhythm across the business, Strategy, and the Center of Excellence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven years of progressive finance experience with a clear track record in strategic finance and executive-level business partnering
- Experience partnering with major business functions such as Global Operations, Product, Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, Customer Success, or Corporate Functions
- Proven record of influencing strategy and major investment decisions at the executive level
- Strong command of value creation, long-range planning, scenario design, and business model economics
- Experience operating with planning, modeling, and reporting delivered by a shared Financial Planning and Analysis Center of Excellence
- Experience in large-scale, global, or high-growth organizations preferred
- Experience in business partnering, corporate strategy, and global leadership preferred
- Ability to influence executive decision-making without direct authority preferred
- Deep knowledge of the supported function's strategy, competitive dynamics, and value drivers preferred
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced business credential preferred
- Strategic thinking, growth mindset, and sound business judgment
- Ability to influence executive stakeholders and communicate with clarity and impact
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Ability to frame complex, ambiguous decisions and clarify options and trade-offs
- Ability to prioritize capital, talent, and resources against highest-value opportunities
- Ability to constructively challenge leaders while balancing competing priorities
- Ability to collaborate across functions, geographies, and organizational levels
- Ability to build, develop, and inspire high-performing global teams
