About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage inbound patient inquiries by phone, email, web form, and other communication channels
- Provide program information and discuss insurance and finances with patients, families, and referents
- Route inquiries to appropriate departments and hand off interested families to the Specialist
- Collect patient information and enter data into various platforms and systems
- Schedule patient screening appointments and conduct reminder calls
- Provide live support to patients and families requesting contact
- Resolve requests in one contact or manage prolonged and complex issues while maintaining the customer experience
- Overcome initial barriers and encourage interested families and patients to continue the admissions process
- Document calls
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Part-time and short-term assignment: 20 hours per week for 6 months
- Availability Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 PM–8:00 PM EST
- 2+ years of experience as a call center representative, customer service representative, and/or patient scheduling
- Experience with fast-paced, high-volume inbound call management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams
- Organized and results-driven
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment subject to rapid change and innovation
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
