Key responsibilities & impact

Further development and optimization of existing Laravel-based systems
Designing and implementing new features and applications
Conducting code reviews and actively ensuring code quality
Actively contributing to technical concepts, architectures, and development standards
Systematically reducing technical debt and continuously improving existing systems
Working closely with Product Management and the development team
Taking responsibility for technical decisions and the sustainable evolution of business-critical web applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training or a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a comparable field—or equivalent practical experience
At least 5 years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel development
Very strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and web architectures
Experience further developing long-standing, production web applications
Responsibility for code quality and technical decisions beyond your own code
Structured, quality-conscious approach to work, along with teamwork and personal accountability
Experience with automated testing in PHP/Laravel environments (e.g., PHPUnit, Pest)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and structured deployment processes
Proficiency with version control (Git) and modern development workflows
Strong awareness of code quality, maintainability, and performance
