About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Systems Engineering team in developing, testing, and maintaining internal applications and services
  • Collaborate with project managers, business units, and the Systems Engineering team to deliver new features and improvements
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues
  • Write clean, maintainable, test-driven, and well-documented code following team standards and best practices
  • Contribute to testing, documentation, and challenging development processes for continuous development
  • Provide technical support for systems within the Systems Engineering remit

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline
  • Demonstrable experience of full-stack development in C# .NET Framework / Core, ASP.NET MVC / Razor, HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with software development IDEs such as Visual Studio and VS Code
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
  • Understanding of basic data structures and object-oriented development principles
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Enthusiasm for keeping up to date with developments in process and software engineering methods and technologies
  • 1–2 years of experience preferred
  • Demonstrable experience in T-SQL and SQL Server
  • Understanding and/or experience of cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Exposure to development management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
  • Knowledge of development methodologies such as Scrum or Agile
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Power Automate
  • Knowledge of computerised system validation concepts
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Must be available to work within CET / GMT business hours
