About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process paperwork and related activities to ensure ERIE sub producers and CSR Agents are appointed and maintain current licenses for applicable states and product lines
- Enter data and process paperwork for subagent appointments and renewals
- Prepare resident and non-resident subproducer and CSR appointments, renewals, and terminations in all states
- Maintain agent records, including the Agent System of Record and related files
- Update agent information and distribute changes to appropriate company personnel
- Update the Agent System of Record and AGUP files
- Handle declaration suppression and mail to Policyholder requisites
- Maintain agency contact information in multiple systems
- Review weekly Errors and Omissions reports and update agency principals’ E&O status
- Request current E&O copies from principal agents
- Review weekly non-renewal reports and inform appropriate departments
- Complete special projects as required
- Work with LexisNexis and agencies to be fully sponsored
- Prepare and monitor executive management licensing and company appointments, as well as agency, principal, and subagent appointments
- Set up new agents and coordinate ongoing maintenance of principal data files and systems
- Create test scenario scripts for new systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required
- One year of general clerical experience required
- Clerical experience in the Agency division preferred
- Knowledge of state laws relevant to sub producer and CSR licensing and termination preferred
- Knowledge of ERIE systems related to Agent licensing preferred
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to perform frequent manual keying/data entry/inputting information/computer use
- Ability to occasionally lift/move 0–20 lbs and 20–50 lbs
- Ability to move over 50 lbs using lifting aide equipment occasionally
- Ability to drive rarely
- Ability to push/pull/move wheeled objects or equipment occasionally
