About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support critical enterprise strategic initiatives of the largest size and highest complexity by developing and executing change management plans
  • Create and implement change management deliverables to maximize user adoption and minimize resistance
  • Discover opportunities for process improvements on complex projects
  • Act as a business liaison responsible for change management plans for enterprise programs and projects
  • Partner with program/project sponsors to define impacts, change management strategy and scope, and success measures
  • Create and implement integrated cross-functional change management plans covering timing, sequencing, audiences, and evaluation measures
  • Design and deliver stakeholder analyses and communications plans
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of change management communication and training plans
  • Lead strategic initiatives involving new technologies, innovation, business-process reengineering, and sustainable process improvements
  • Create and manage message platforms for Employees, Agents, and Customers
  • Define and measure success metrics, monitor change progress, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Collaborate with the corporate program management office (PMO) to support enterprise strategic initiative success
  • Serve as the primary change management resource for assigned strategic initiatives
  • Mature the change management discipline across the enterprise using Prosci methodology
  • Train and develop less experienced staff and provide guidance and feedback to other change management specialists

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and six years' related experience; or Associate degree and eight years' related experience; or High school diploma and ten years' related experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of change management principles and methodologies required
  • In-depth knowledge of strategic planning, organizational design, and strategic communication required
  • Strong communications experience, including translating complex business strategies and organizational changes into clear, compelling narratives and communications, strongly preferred
  • Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on complex, high-visibility communications and organizational change, strongly preferred
  • Crisis and issues communications experience, including supporting leaders and developing communications in sensitive, fast-moving situations, strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with ERIE’s business processes and practices preferred
  • Certifications in change management methodologies such as Prosci or Certified Change Mgmt Professional (CCMP) preferred
