About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, databases, and analytical systems
- Build and maintain data warehouses, data pipelines, and storage solutions for business intelligence, reporting, and analytics
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL data pipelines from various sources into the data warehouse
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and implement solutions for data modeling, analysis, and visualization
- Monitor pipeline and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize reliability, scalability, and efficiency
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including infrastructure redesign, data delivery optimization, and manual-process automation
- Stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and industry trends
- Report to the VP of Global Engineering
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of relative experience in data engineering roles
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
- Experience within Financial Services industry is a nice to have
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, databases, and analytical systems
- Experience implementing scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing large volumes of structured and unstructured data
