About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Commit to serving in ambulatory care clinics in the Fargo-Moorhead area
- Work clinic hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
- Assist RN, physician, and other providers
- Provide direct patient care in ambulatory and/or home care settings
- Perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated
- Care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly
- Transition into a clinical role upon graduation and licensure
- Participate in mentorship from experienced nurse leaders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited LPN program
- Prerequisites will not qualify you to apply for this program
- A North Dakota LPN license is required upon hire
- A Minnesota LPN license is required within 3 months of hire
- AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within 3 months of hire
