About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Family Practice team across multiple clinics within the Twin Ports area
- Manage the in-basket
- Communicate with patients
- Perform direct patient care tasks
- Provide clinical support for providers and care teams in the ambulatory setting
- Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no holidays or weekends
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota or Wisconsin, OR current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant
- Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and certification within one year of hire, if not already certified
- Must pass Medical Assistant certification within two attempts
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 3 months
- Travel expected for the position
- Qualifications for potential hybrid work arrangement
