About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the Family Practice in-basket
  • Communicate with patients
  • Perform direct patient care tasks
  • Provide clinical support for providers and care teams in the ambulatory setting
  • Support the Family Practice team across multiple clinics within the Twin Ports area
  • Travel between clinics as required
  • Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no holidays or weekends

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota or Wisconsin, OR current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant
  • Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and certification within one year of hire if not already certified
  • Must pass Medical Assistant certification within two attempts
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or ability to obtain it within 3 months
  • Ability to travel between clinics within the Twin Ports area
  • Qualifications and licensure/certification requirements applicable to the role
