About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills
- Work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Provide healthcare to individuals and families
- Emphasize health promotion and disease prevention
- Care for patients ranging from newborns to elderly patients
- Provide fast-paced acute walk-in care
- Serve primarily at Moose Lake, with additional service in Cloquet and Hinckley
- Participate in weekend rotation every other weekend
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the appropriate state (NP)
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate state (NP)
- Current certification in CPR
- National certification in the applicable area (NP)
- Current licensure as a physician assistant in the appropriate state (PA)
- National certification (PA)
- Successful completion of the Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
- Skills in suturing and orthopedics desired
- Ability to work every other weekend
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Additional Wisconsin licensure is a plus and can be obtained after hire
