About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Interpret, dispense, and monitor medications
- Provide quality pharmaceutical services to patients, physicians, and other health care professionals
- Optimize drug therapy to improve patients' quality of life and health outcomes
- Provide access to medications and immunizations
- Participate in clinical initiatives
- Assist with daily pharmacy department activities
- Train new staff and pharmacy students
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns
- Resolve customer service issues
- Handle billing, record keeping, monthly audits, inventory control, supplies, equipment, and cash accurately
- Perform other duties assigned by the department leader
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education
- BS or PharmD degree required
- Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the Board of Pharmacy in Minnesota or Wisconsin
- Pharmacist-Intern registration and active pursuit of pharmacist licensure if currently registered in another state, with licensure within 90 days of hire
- Ongoing continuing education and license renewal as required by the state Board of Pharmacy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified within one week of hire
- Immunization Delivery Certification required at time of hire
- Ability to work a Day/Eve Rotation
- Full-time availability
