About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide oversight of daily operations across multiple assigned departments and sites
  • Manage staffing and develop/implement workflows and processes
  • Provide input to the leader regarding policies, procedures, systems, and operating budgets
  • Provide direct nursing leadership and nursing staff development
  • Deliver patient care and advocate for patients
  • Intermittently perform RN duties, including patient assessment, responding to interventions, treatments, education, and counseling
  • Support continuous quality improvement efforts to achieve high-quality care and service
  • Work 8 am to 5 pm, three days a week, with responsibilities shared with another part-time supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
  • Current RN license with the North Dakota State Board of Nursing upon hire
  • Minnesota RN license required within 3 months of hire
  • AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire
  • 2 years' nursing experience in related specialty, ambulatory setting; or community health with demonstrated leadership ability
  • Must maintain ambulatory RN competency
  • Reachable by phone or digitally when not working
  • On-call availability for medication unit temperature alarms
