About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide oversight of daily department operations
- Manage staffing and develop and implement workflows and processes
- Provide input to the leader regarding policies, procedures, systems, and operating budgets
- Provide direct nursing leadership and nursing staff development
- Provide patient care and patient advocacy
- Perform RN duties, including assessing patients, responding to interventions, providing treatments, and offering education and counseling
- Support continuous quality improvement efforts to improve care and service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire
- 2 years of nursing experience in a related specialty, ambulatory setting, or community health with demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to float between Moose Lake Clinic and Hinckley Clinic
