About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Organize and provide nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Delegate aspects of care to nursing personnel based on licensure, preparation, and job descriptions
- Contribute to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia Health
- Meet Joint Commission and other applicable regulatory or accrediting requirements
- Perform perioperative assignments as RN Circulator, RN PACU, or RN Endoscopy, including moderate sedation
- Float to Duluth surgery departments as needed following established guidelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year
- RN PACU experience preferred
- Dual licensure in Minnesota and Wisconsin required for floating to Duluth surgery departments
- On-call availability
- Ability to work 64 hours per pay period and 8-hour shifts
