About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and coordinate payroll delivery across Mexico and Central America
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely processing for all payroll cycles
- Ensure compliance with local labor, tax, social security, and payroll regulations
- Maintain strong controls and audit readiness
- Coach, develop, and support Payroll Specialists and Administrators
- Act as the escalation point for complex payroll matters
- Provide guidance on payroll-related policies, processes, and compliance requirements
- Drive process standardization, automation, digitalization, and system enhancements
- Build effective relationships with HR, Compensation & Benefits, Finance, IT, external vendors, and business leaders across the region
- Monitor payroll reporting, operational metrics, resource planning, and service performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Solid experience leading payroll operations within multinational and multi-country environments, preferably across Mexico and Central America and/or Shared Services organizations
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, payroll controls, tax regulations, social security requirements, labor compliance, and payroll systems
- Advanced Excel capabilities
- Proven ability to lead people, influence stakeholders, solve complex problems, manage competing priorities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in fast-paced environments
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Ability to communicate confidently with regional and global stakeholders
