About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support monthly financial closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery of financial information
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including performance, trends, variances and key business drivers
- Lead forecasting activities and deliver reliable financial outlooks
- Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions to improve financial performance
- Partner with Sales, Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders on commercial initiatives and business decisions
- Provide profitability analysis and data-driven insights
- Monitor financial and operational KPIs to evaluate performance and identify efficiency and value-creation opportunities
- Support internal and external audits and ensure adherence to financial policies, reporting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Improve controlling processes, reporting tools and ways of working
- Promote financial awareness and share knowledge through training and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with local and regional teams on improvement opportunities, major initiatives and digital transformation programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance or a similar finance role
- Preferably experience within FMCG, Consumer Goods or a multinational environment
- Strong knowledge of financial controlling fundamentals, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, variance analysis, working capital and accounting principles
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into business insights and recommendations
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and support change management initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Collaborative, proactive, pragmatic and ownership-oriented mindset
