About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage transportation planning, service level agreements, and key performance indicators
- Supervise transportation planners and oversee day-to-day load planning execution
- Support Essity Healthcare and Personal Care North America manufacturing sites and 3PL locations
- Coordinate Smart Hub resources and workloads
- Lead transport planning and execution to deliver service level agreements
- Advise on transportation planning improvements, lane exclusions, scenario simulations, and optimization projects
- Manage relationships with Customer Service, Site Logistics Teams, RDM, Transportation Manager, and other stakeholders
- Serve as the single point of contact for operational issues and escalate when required
- Create a seamless internal and external customer experience
- Review key reports, identify performance trends, and provide input to RDM and Transportation Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-4 years' experience in Transportation Planning and Execution, and Managed Service management
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required
- Diverse Professional Transportation knowledge and Supply Chain Management skills
- Preference for retail fulfillment experience
- Strong analytical and business-oriented skills
- Negotiation and interpersonal skills for people management and workforce organization
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines and multi-task daily activities
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Versed in MS Office tools
- Knowledge of SAP and PowerBI is a plus
- Previous experience with TMS required
