About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and performance
- Lead cloud infrastructure projects end-to-end from architecture decisions through delivery
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for deployment and management of cloud resources
- Monitor cloud expenditure and implement cost-control strategies
- Implement and manage access controls and ensure compliance with security and data-protection standards
- Collaborate with development, SRE, and security teams
- Develop documentation and diagrams for complex systems
- Participate in on-call rotations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in cloud computing
- Hands-on proficiency in AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, and Lambda
- Experience in Azure
- Deep experience with Terraform
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CloudFormation and ARM
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Solid background in SaaS environments, including support for multiple product lines
- Strong working knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, WAF, SSL, and DNS
- Experience with Git-based version control using GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps
- Ability to leverage AI tooling to accelerate delivery
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification, or equivalent (nice to have)
- Production experience with Azure and/or GCP (nice to have)
- Experience in cloud security practices and tooling (nice to have)
- Previous experience with Jira (nice to have)
