About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end enterprise-level software implementations from kickoff through go-live
  • Manage scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication
  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and working sessions with customer stakeholders
  • Document current-state workflows, pain points, and business requirements
  • Design and document future-state workflows and manage change-management discussions
  • Oversee data migration, including mapping, cleansing, validation, and loading
  • Explain stored-procedure requirements and desired outcomes to technical teams
  • Bring product gaps to Product and Development teams through the CCB
  • Ensure project teams complete quality deliverables before customer handoff
  • Facilitate customer verification and project signoff
  • Manage scope and customer expectations to keep projects on budget
  • Facilitate issue and risk discussions and develop resolution plans
  • Support testing, training, go-live readiness, and post-go-live system stability
  • Serve as an escalation point for the support team
  • Collaborate with Product, Development, technical, and implementation teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years’ experience with budget software implementation or working in a budget office, or configuration and delivery responsibility for similar complex ERP software such as SAP, Workday, or Salesforce in a customer-facing role
  • Direct experience running discovery workshops and documenting future-state requirements and decisions in a structured manner
  • Demonstrated ability to design future-state workflows satisfying customer objectives while accounting for system and process constraints
  • Strong change management instincts and ability to guide customers through process and workflow changes
  • Excellent project management skills managing concurrent implementations, timelines, and stakeholders
  • Strong facilitation and documentation skills
  • Experience presenting to and advising customer executives and project teams
  • Familiarity with SQL, views, and stored procedures (nice to have)
  • Ability to use AI to create repeatable processes and improve customer outcomes (nice to have)
