About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead client engagements with a consultative mindset
Analyze client business processes and public sector budgeting workflows for optimization and innovation opportunities
Deliver advisory, guidance, and project-based work through time-and-materials engagements
Support Day 2 implementation rollouts and system/business process optimization initiatives
Translate client needs into technical requirements
Collaborate with development, report writers, and cross-functional teammates on feasible, high-impact solutions
Liaise between clients and internal teams to ensure accurate execution of requirements
Share best practices for budgeting, software usage, and organizational transformation
Provide technical product demonstrations and create materials communicating recommended solutions
Stay informed about industry trends, budgeting practices, and evolving product capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field
At least 5 years of experience in software development and/or implementations, consulting, or project management
SME-level expertise in consulting, engagement management, and/or public sector budgeting processes
Strong consultative presence, including excellent listening, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple engagements with clarity and organization
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management foundations
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build trust quickly with clients and peers
Appreciation for diversity of talents and perspectives
AI-forward thinking
Creative approach to problem solving
PMP certification or similar credential (nice to have)
Experience with cloud-based software development and deployment (nice to have)
Background working in regulated environments (nice to have)
