About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead client engagements with a consultative mindset
- Ensure clear communication and alignment across stakeholders
- Analyze client business processes and public sector budgeting workflows
- Identify opportunities for optimization and innovation
- Deliver advisory, guidance, and project-based work through time-and-materials engagements
- Support Day 2 implementation rollouts and full-scale system and business process optimization initiatives
- Translate client needs into technical requirements
- Collaborate with development, report writers, and cross-functional teammates to design feasible, high-impact solutions
- Serve as liaison between clients and internal teams
- Ensure accurate execution of requirements
- Share best practices for budgeting, software usage, and organizational transformation
- Provide technical product demonstrations
- Create materials communicating the recommended path forward
- Stay informed about industry trends, budgeting practices, and evolving product capabilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in software development and/or implementations, consulting, or project management
- SME-level expertise in consulting, engagement management, and/or public sector budgeting processes
- Strong consultative presence, including listening, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements with clarity and organization
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management foundations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build trust quickly with clients and peers
- Appreciation for diversity of talents and perspectives
- AI-forward mindset
- Thirst for knowledge and creative approach to problem solving
- PMP certification or similar credential preferred
- Experience with cloud-based software development and deployment preferred
- Background working in regulated environments preferred
