About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the architecture and technical direction of the shared platform layer, including service boundaries, contracts, and product consumption of shared capabilities
- Govern Euna's technical standards program end-to-end, from drafting and reviewing to ratification, communication, and maintenance
- Define cloud architecture patterns for multi-account structure, network topology, workload isolation, and resilience with Cloud Operations and SRE
- Set architectural direction for identity and access management across product and corporate systems
- Align architectural decisions with Security to meet public sector compliance obligations, including SOC 2, PCI DSS, and GovRAMP
- Identify high-risk and high-impact work, build the business case, and sequence remediation
- Advise the AI team on cross-cutting infrastructure, identity, and integration decisions
- Participate in the Architecture Review Board
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years in technology
- 5+ years in architecture or staff-level roles
- Hands-on experience in cloud, infrastructure, or IT engineering at production scale
- Deep experience with organizational-scale cloud architecture, including multi-account AWS environments, networking, workload isolation, and shared services
- Working fluency in Azure
- Hands-on proficiency with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure as code
- Strong identity and access architecture experience, including OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM
- Experience owning a technical standards or governance practice spanning teams not directly managed
- Ability to gather practitioner input and keep published guidance current
- Ability to lead through influence and build consensus among senior technical stakeholders
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication
- Experience integrating technology estates following an acquisition (nice to have)
- Experience with centralized AI capability delivery, including model access patterns, data handling, and technical guardrails (nice to have)
- FinOps practice experience and familiarity with cloud cost accountability frameworks (nice to have)
- Public sector or govtech experience, or a professional/expert-level cloud architecture certification such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (nice to have)
