About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the architecture and technical direction of the shared platform layer, including service boundaries, contracts, and shared capabilities consumed by products
Govern Euna's technical standards program from drafting and review through ratification, communication, and maintenance
Define cloud architecture patterns for multi-account structure, network topology, workload isolation, and resilience
Partner with Cloud Operations and SRE on cloud architecture
Set architectural direction for identity and access management across product and corporate systems
Align architectural decisions with Security to meet SOC 2, PCI DSS, and GovRAMP compliance obligations
Identify high-risk and high-impact work, build the business case, and define sequencing
Advise the AI team on cross-cutting infrastructure, identity, and integration decisions
Participate in the Architecture Review Board
Ensure architectural standards remain effective across architecture, engineering, and operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in technology, including 5+ years in architecture or staff-level roles
Hands-on background in cloud, infrastructure, or IT engineering at production scale
Deep experience with cloud architecture at organizational scale, including multi-account AWS environments, networking, workload isolation, and shared services
Working fluency in Azure
Hands-on proficiency with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure as code
Strong background in identity and access architecture, including OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM
Experience owning a technical standards or governance practice spanning teams not directly managed
Ability to gather practitioner input and keep published guidance current
Ability to lead through influence and build consensus among senior technical stakeholders
Clear, concise written and verbal communication
Experience integrating technology estates following an acquisition
Experience with centralized AI capability delivery, including model access patterns, data handling, and technical guardrails
FinOps practice experience and familiarity with cloud cost accountability frameworks
Public sector or govtech domain experience, or a professional/expert-level cloud architecture certification such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
