About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the Professional Services team while serving as a customer-facing Implementation Manager
Serve as the primary client contact throughout onboarding
Conduct kickoff meetings and gather business processes and requirements
Provide guidance on best practices for implementing and configuring SaaS products
Carry out basic project management activities, including managing scope, communications, risks, opportunities, and change management
Customize system settings, workflows, and integrations to meet client requirements using out-of-the-box functionality where possible
Use Excel to prepare data and perform initial data loads
Write simple scripts when needed
Author ad hoc customer reports
Collaborate with sales, product management, customer success, and technical support teams
Support the transition from the sales cycle to product adoption
Influence product design and the customer lifecycle to deliver a coherent, high-quality client experience
Develop and deliver client training sessions
Create and maintain implementation documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles
Ensure complete customer product adoption
Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate implementation issues
Provide timely client updates
Contribute to improving implementation processes and methodologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience
7+ years of experience in a client-facing implementation role, preferably in the SaaS industry
Strong understanding of software implementation processes, methodologies, and best practices
Experience managing a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams
Ability to take the lead in a workshop environment
Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and navigate new software applications
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
High comfort level with Excel is a plus
Ability to design and document reports generated from relational databases is a plus
Ability to author reports using SSRS or Power BI is a significant plus
Experience with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise software implementations, particularly GovTech, is a plus
Familiarity with Jira, Cloud Coach, Autotask, Asana, or similar software for project tracking and time management is a plus
