About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as primary IT partner for designated Finance reporting domains
- Collaborate with Finance stakeholders on P&L reporting, balance sheet reporting, cost controlling, budgeting, forecasting, management accounting, and operational finance reporting
- Gather, analyze, document, and challenge business requirements
- Own reports, dashboards, KPIs, datasets, and analytics products throughout their lifecycle
- Identify source systems and data owners; analyze data structures and define integration requirements
- Design scalable reporting solutions aligned with architectural standards and governance requirements
- Develop semantic models, business calculations, KPIs, and reusable datasets
- Build ETL/ELT components, Microsoft Fabric artifacts, Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions
- Rapidly develop prototypes and MVPs to validate business value
- Ensure data quality, reconciliation, user acceptance testing, and production readiness
- Maintain business requirements, solution documentation, data mappings, KPI definitions, and operating procedures
- Manage enhancements, change requests, and report optimization activities
- Interact with Purchasing, Finance, IT, external partners, and corporate and regional business and IT teams in a multicultural and international environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in BI, analytics, finance systems, or business analysis roles
- Strong experience combining business analysis and solution development responsibilities
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, DAX, and data modelling
- Solid understanding of finance and controlling processes
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX2012, D365 Finance & Operations, or equivalent ERP solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively with finance business users and technical teams
- Experience managing reporting products end-to-end
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Fluent English communication skills
