About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process full weekly and biweekly payroll for all US employees
- Process garnishments and off-cycle payments
- Reconcile weekly payroll variances
- Review time, labor, and absences
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll issues and employee pay inquiries
- Answer payroll policy questions for internal stakeholders and external agencies
- Use Oracle HCM Cloud to complete payroll tasks
- Perform year-end reporting through Oracle and ADP
- Conduct reconciliation reviews and process W-2 and W-2C forms
- Assist with planning and integration of new companies
- Recommend new or improved systems and processes
- Perform duties supporting the smooth operation of the payroll group
- Conduct activities safely and efficiently
- Apply GMP/GLP where appropriate
- Demonstrate and promote the company vision
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3–5 years of payroll administration experience
- Experience with multi-state payrolls
- Experience with any payroll system and accounting programs preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Proficiency in computer operations
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including spreadsheet development and data analysis functionalities
- Experience with cloud-based collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Willingness to work overtime
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
