About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the transition and mobilisation of Eurostar’s new On Board Service offer, anticipated May 2027
- Assess accounting, reporting and control implications of the new service
- Embed new requirements into business-as-usual processes and coordinate finance readiness before go-live
- Identify and deliver process improvements through automation and responsible use of AI
- Define reporting requirements, data sources, KPIs and performance measures
- Support monthly close and ensure accurate cost reporting against budget and forecast
- Lead quarterly performance reviews and drive budgeting for assigned business areas
- Analyse performance, identify risks and opportunities, and prepare capital expenditure business cases
- Build stakeholder relationships and provide tailored financial insights
- Champion governance compliance and foster a high-performance environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Partner with Procurement, Legal, accounting and business stakeholders
- Internationally recognised professional accountancy qualification, part qualification, or university equivalent
- Ability to navigate change and operate in an ever-changing environment
- Advanced ability to assess risks and opportunities and present persuasive recommendations
- Strong influencing skills across Finance and non-Finance teams, including international stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions, build trust and deliver shared outcomes
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
- Expertise in financial planning tools for budgets, forecasts and reporting
- Adaptive Planning is a plus
- Proficiency in French is desirable but not essential
- Experience with AI and automation is desirable
