About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Development Representatives
  • Set and manage goals for response time, qualification, meetings booked, show rate, accepted opportunities, and pipeline creation
  • Own the rotating coverage model across calls, live chat, form submissions, email replies, and other inbound channels
  • Balance service levels, lead volume, and team capacity
  • Develop scalable processes for direct, signal-based outbound prospecting, contact nurture, and high-intent retargeting workflows
  • Build onboarding and ongoing enablement for Eventeny solutions, buyer personas, discovery questions, objection handling, qualification standards, and CRM workflows
  • Establish and maintain qualification and handoff processes for Software Sales Specialists
  • Own SDR reporting and operating rhythms, including dashboards, weekly performance reviews, capacity planning, and communication of risks, trends, and opportunities
  • Maintain CRM discipline in HubSpot, including lead routing, activity capture, ownership, data quality, and follow-up standards
  • Partner with Marketing to improve lead quality, campaign follow-up, and speed-to-lead
  • Partner with Software Sales to improve meeting quality, acceptance criteria, and closed-loop feedback
  • Travel occasionally for conferences and business development efforts
  • Develop playbooks for inbound conversion, outbound reply handling, AI-assisted outreach responses, lead recycling, and supplemental prospecting
  • Maintain deep understanding of Eventeny's platform and model customer empathy, ethical selling, and clear communication

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in sales development, opportunity creation, or another high-volume customer-facing sales role in a SaaS environment
  • 2+ years of experience directly coaching, supervising, and managing SDRs or other quota-carrying sales team members
  • Track record of improving team performance through clear goals, structured coaching, quality assurance, and consistent accountability
  • Strong command of inbound sales fundamentals, including speed-to-lead, discovery, qualification, objection handling, meeting conversion, and sales handoffs
  • Strong comfort building and interpreting funnels, dashboards, and team metrics in a CRM; hands-on HubSpot experience strongly preferred
  • Growth experiment mindset: ability to form hypotheses, test processes, learn from results, and turn successful approaches into repeatable playbooks
  • Self-directed, highly organized, and resilient leadership style
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing start-up environment
  • Data-driven decision-making and communication with cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to customer empathy, ethical business practices, inclusive leadership, and high-quality prospect experiences
  • Experience with AI-assisted sales workflows, events or event technology, or selling to SMB, mid-market, government, or enterprise buyers is an added plus
