Key responsibilities & impact

Build and improve systems that extract and structure information from large volumes of unstructured documents.
Develop reliable backend services and systems that support document processing and AI-powered products.
Work with engineers and data scientists to integrate AI technologies into production systems.
Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of systems.
Build tools and infrastructure that help teams develop, evaluate, and operate AI-powered systems.
Participate in the full project lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and iteration.
Collaborate with product, engineering, data science, and machine learning teams to solve complex problems.
Learn new technologies and contribute to the evolution of the AI platform.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Experience building software through internships, co-ops, academic projects, personal projects, or other practical experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to break down complex problems.
Curiosity about AI and interest in applying AI to real-world problems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and grow as an engineer.
Experience building backend systems or applications that work with large volumes of information is nice to have.
Experience working with unstructured data such as documents, text, or images is nice to have.
Familiarity with AI, LLMs, machine learning, or natural language processing is nice to have.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, databases, APIs, testing, or system performance is nice to have.
