About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the product and technical delivery of compliance and safety initiatives across platforms
Translate safety policies, legal requirements, incident findings, and user feedback into product requirements, acceptance criteria, and engineering work
Drive initiatives from problem definition through implementation, testing, launch, and ongoing improvement
Own product improvements to in-house moderation systems, including EverGuard
Partner with Engineering and AI/ML teams on detection capabilities, moderation rules and thresholds, and interventions across user inputs and AI-generated outputs
Lead the lifecycle of third-party safety partnerships and integrations
Establish safety dashboards and recurring quality assurance to identify emerging issues and ensure T&S measures work as intended
Own red teaming and adversarial testing, tracking findings through remediation, retesting, and closure
Establish and run Trust & Safety reviews for new features and material changes
Coordinate product and engineering responses to significant safety issues
Work closely with Compliance, Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Customer Support
Report directly to the CTO and Legal & Safety Lead

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to make data-driven product decisions aligned with legal and ethical standards
Experience running A/B tests, product experiments, data deep-dives, or lightweight user research
Ability to assess risks associated with user-generated content, transactions, and interactions
Understanding of scalable content moderation using automation, machine learning, human review, and user reporting
Experience working closely with trust and safety and compliance requirements for consumer-facing products
Cross-functional experience with engineering, legal, operations, and customer support teams
Fully fluent and comfortable in English
Comfort working with and leveraging AI tools
Ability to test and autonomously handle discussions with third-party tools and integrations
Comfortable with ambiguity and taking ownership
Comfortable building products based on uncensored models and content
Comfortable reviewing and discussing uncensored AI-generated content and NSFW material
Previous legal/compliance education, AI professional experience or interest, and consumer-facing entertainment or gaming experience are bonus points
