About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own product and technical delivery of compliance and safety initiatives across EverAI platforms
- Translate safety requirements into product features, moderation capabilities, third-party integrations, and measurable improvements
- Work with Compliance, Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Customer Support to identify risks and build safeguards
- Drive safety initiatives from problem definition through implementation, testing, launch, and continuous improvement
- Improve in-house moderation systems, including the EverGuard proprietary LLM technology
- Partner with Engineering and AI/ML on detection capabilities, moderation rules, thresholds, and interventions
- Lead the lifecycle of third-party safety partnerships and integrations
- Establish safety dashboards and recurring QA processes
- Own red teaming and adversarial testing, including remediation, retesting, and closure
- Establish and run trust and safety reviews for new features, models, integrations, and material changes
- Coordinate product and engineering responses to significant safety incidents
- Work directly with the CTO and Legal & Safety Lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience making data-driven product decisions using metrics, A/B tests, product experiments, data deep-dives, or lightweight user research
- Ability to assess risks involving user-generated content, transactions, and interactions
- Experience translating safety requirements into policies, trackers/dashboards, and strategic plans
- Understanding of content moderation, automation, machine learning, human review, and user reporting
- Experience working with trust and safety and compliance requirements for consumer-facing products
- Cross-functional work with engineering, legal, operations, and customer support teams
- Full fluency and comfort in English
- Comfortable working with and leveraging AI tools
- Ability to test and autonomously manage third-party tools and integrations
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking ownership
- Comfortable building products based on uncensored models and content
- Comfortable reviewing and discussing uncensored AI-generated content and NSFW material
- Previous legal/compliance education is a bonus
- Professional experience or interest in AI is a bonus
- Consumer-facing feature experience, particularly in entertainment or gaming, is a bonus
