About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help public and private utilities streamline operations with enterprise SaaS solutions
- Develop a strong understanding of customer organizations, priorities, industry dynamics, and available solutions
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through research, outreach, prospecting, and opportunity development
- Create relationships with multiple decision-makers and influencers within complex organizations
- Lead consultative, value-based sales cycles directly and with channel partners
- Advance and close enterprise opportunities, including deals exceeding $100,000 in annual contract value
- Partner with Marketing and Business Development on campaigns engaging target buyers
- Meet or exceed sales and quarterly bookings goals
- Maintain accurate opportunity, forecast, and activity records in Salesforce
- Manage a defined portfolio of utility and energy-provider accounts
- Support customers addressing operational streamlining and outage preparation, response, and recovery coordination
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of successful SaaS sales experience, ideally in enterprise or complex B2B sales
- Track record of selling to transportation, logistics, critical infrastructure, or closely related organizations; direct passenger or cargo transportation experience is especially relevant
- Experience managing consultative sales cycles, building executive relationships, and engaging multiple stakeholders
- Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, written communication, and closing skills
- History of meeting or exceeding quota, supported by measurable results
- Comfort using Salesforce and applying AI tools to improve research, productivity, or sales workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work from the United States
- Live within practical reach of a major airport
- Ability to travel at least 30%
- Experience opening new markets or winning new customers is nice to have
- Success growing revenue in existing transportation or infrastructure accounts is nice to have
- Deep experience in transportation, infrastructure security, law enforcement, or adjacent technology markets is nice to have
- 15 or more years of relevant industry experience is a plus
- Experience managing a high volume of opportunities and navigating security-conscious buying environments is nice to have
- An active security clearance is a plus
