About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide medical communications services for healthcare providers, patients, and industry clients
  • Translate English documents into the target language or vice versa and deliver translated responses by phone or in writing
  • Triage and respond to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers/patients
  • Disseminate drug information verbally or in written correspondence
  • Identify adverse events and product complaints during customer interactions
  • Perform intake to generate initial adverse event and product complaint reports in compliance with company and client SOPs
  • Fulfill local regulatory authority requirements for post-marketing adverse event reporting
  • Assess what safety information must be obtained and the appropriate depth of information collection
  • Write adverse event and product complaint narratives and medical inquiry custom responses
  • Coordinate quality-related complaint processes with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and complainants
  • Evaluate medical literature and develop written drug information for healthcare professionals
  • Support market and competitive product research, system development, sales training, and field liaison projects
  • Perform medical writing and assigned on-call duties
  • Maintain and improve Medical Communications Call Centre customer service and process metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Life Sciences or healthcare degree or equivalent
  • Strong clinical background
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • English C1 level obligatory
  • Strong translation skills
  • Preferred Pharma D / M Pharma, MSc in Life Sciences or healthcare, or related degrees such as BSc/MSc in Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Anatomy & Physiology, Health Science, or Human Science
  • Preferred experience in call center, medical information, pharmaceutical industry, clinical settings, and medical writing
  • Fluent English
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows applications
  • Experience with Medical Information Management Systems, Safety Databases, or equivalent
  • Legally eligible to work in the European Union or the UK
  • Ability to work Europe working hours between 8am–6pm CET Monday–Friday
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Ability to work assigned on-call responsibilities
