About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide clients, media staff, internal teams and vendors with media thought leadership and guidance
  • Plan, buy, analyze, test and optimize paid media across digital and traditional channels for pharmaceutical clients
  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for media vendors
  • Manage trafficking requests, creative asset delivery and campaign-related troubleshooting
  • Create and manage Prisma campaigns, Authorizations, ATBs and Insertion Orders
  • Lead campaign activation workflows, including spec sheets, ad-serving platforms, traffic sheets and tracking tags
  • Build or oversee DCM tags and coordinate trafficking of tags and creative assets
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and lead campaign kickoff calls
  • Create and manage campaign flowcharts and media launch trackers
  • Manage bill trackers, invoices, budget reconciliations and other campaign financial processes
  • Request and organize vendor data, performance reports and campaign screenshots
  • Lead campaign pacing and optimization efforts
  • Collaborate with analytics teams on monthly and quarterly reports
  • Support media recommendations by managing RFPs, evaluating proposals and maintaining competitive and partner consideration sets
  • Build media plan recommendations in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to junior planners
  • Develop Media POVs for client requests
  • Participate in internal and external meetings and communications
  • Apply diversity, equity and inclusion principles and manage bias
  • Multitask, prioritize and pivot in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or equivalent education plus professional experience
  • 3-5 years of paid media planning, buying or campaign management experience across channels, with a heavy digital media focus
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Complete, end-to-end understanding of the media planning and buying process, from RFP to reporting
  • Hands-on experience with Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) and Double Verify
  • Familiarity with Media Ocean Prisma, including campaign setup, IO creation, vendor management, pacing updates, budget modifications, reconciliation and billing workflows
  • Highly organized, able to multitask, prioritize and pivot while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret campaign data for actionable insights and optimizations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to build and navigate cross-functional relationships
  • Interest or experience leveraging AI-enabled tools in media planning and performance analysis
  • Experience with media planning platforms and research tools such as Kantar, Media Radar, Pathmatics and MRI
  • Up-to-date knowledge of market and media trends, emerging technology and vendor capabilities
  • Online media background; pharmaceutical media experience is a plus
  • Some travel may be required
