About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Meet and exceed assigned territory sales goals
- Establish working relationships with assigned healthcare providers and support staff
- Communicate information about the client’s neurology/epilepsy product
- Educate customers on relevant patient educational materials and programs
- Complete advanced product training and develop comprehensive disease-state and product knowledge
- Deliver core selling messages for promoted products
- Meet or exceed call expectations and sales attainment goals
- Accurately generate sample and literature requests
- Follow up on and investigate product shipments
- Maintain database entries for targeted customer calls, product discussions, and literature requests
- Provide feedback and recommendations to team leadership
- Comply with company, PDMA, compliance, and regulatory policies
- Work independently from a remote home office
- Cultivate the assigned virtual territory and deliver measurable results
- Collaborate with the field specialty team to ensure product availability for patients
- Work toward volume, metrics, and outcome-based compensation goals
- Demonstrate inclusive behaviors and proactively manage bias
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR equivalent experience
- 2+ years of sales experience in an outbound Virtual Sales role
- Experience in Neurology disease is a plus
- REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy) experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn new software as needed
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
- Ability to articulate complex clinical data
- Solid and persuasive communication skills
- Aptitude and confidence to converse with physicians and all levels of medical office staff
- Stable internet connection adequate to support VoIP calls and virtual call platforms
- Familiarity with CRM applications preferred
- Occasional travel required
