About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, organize, and execute in-person, hybrid, and virtual corporate events aligned with the company’s strategic objectives
  • Manage every stage of events, from the initial brief, budgets, and contracts through final delivery and results analysis reports
  • Develop schedules, monitor budgets, and prepare project financial reports
  • Coordinate vendors, agencies, event production companies, caterers, hotels, and other partners
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor deliverables, and ensure deadlines, quality standards, and costs are met
  • Plan and execute the company’s participation in trade shows, conferences, relationship-building events, brand activations, and proprietary events
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Sales, Product, and Leadership teams to ensure strategic alignment
  • Develop event communication and promotional plans in collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Track performance metrics, prepare management reports, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Ensure the best possible experience for participants, clients, partners, and executives
  • Conduct site visits, manage travel logistics, and provide on-site support for initiatives when necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
  • Solid experience managing and executing medium- and large-scale corporate events
  • Experience with financial planning, budget control, and vendor negotiations
  • Knowledge of project management and the ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously
  • Experience organizing trade shows, conferences, conventions, relationship-building events, and brand activations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Willingness to travel and provide on-site event support
  • Proactive, organized, results-oriented profile with strong problem-solving skills
  • Basic to intermediate Spanish and English
  • Specialization or additional courses in Event Management, Marketing, or Project Management are desirable
  • A plus: experience in technology, software, payments, or financial services companies
  • A plus: experience with B2B events and engagement with C-level executives
  • A plus: experience measuring event ROI
  • A plus: previous experience with major trade shows and events in the financial services, technology, and innovation sectors
