About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases for assigned features
  • Perform exploratory, automated, regression, functional, reliability, and performance testing
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements, expected agent behavior, and human-in-the-loop flows
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, Agile ceremonies, and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Create and maintain Playwright end-to-end tests and Vitest component tests
  • Execute and maintain contract tests and API tests
  • Test streaming, loading, and error states, including slow and failed agent responses
  • Execute automated test suites in GitHub Actions and fix failing scripts
  • Create and maintain synthetic test data
  • Reinforce testing processes and automation standards
  • Run axe-core accessibility checks and manual screen reader tests using JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver against WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA
  • Identify, isolate, document, and track defects
  • Analyze test and evaluation results, generate quality metrics, and report quality status
  • Use approved AI-assisted tools for test design, script development, test data generation, documentation, and troubleshooting
  • Validate AI-generated tests, scripts, and analyses for correctness, security, maintainability, compliance, and business appropriateness
  • Follow policies for AI usage, intellectual property, security, privacy, PHI handling, and Responsible AI

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, including hands-on UI test automation
  • Experience with Playwright or similar end-to-end automation tools, preferably using TypeScript or JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation
  • Familiarity with component testing frameworks such as Vitest or Jest
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and REST APIs
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and version control systems such as Git
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and ALM
  • Proficiency in functional, regression, and performance testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in an Agile development environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills, openness to feedback, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Government-issued photo ID required for identity verification
  • Comprehensive background check required
  • In-person I-9 verification required
  • May be subject to drug screening prior to employment
  • High-speed internet over 10 Mbps at home
  • Ability to plug directly into the home internet router for call center employees
