About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software applications
  • Create, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks
  • Conduct manual and automated testing for software functionality, performance, and security
  • Identify, document, and prioritize defects and collaborate with developers on resolution
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Mentor junior quality engineers and promote testing and quality assurance best practices
  • Analyze test data, generate quality metrics, and report software quality to stakeholders
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and product planning
  • Evaluate emerging testing tools, technologies, and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks; Karate and/or Playwright preferred
  • Strong coding skills in C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • In-depth knowledge of functional, regression, performance, and security testing methodologies
  • Experience working in agile development environments and understanding of agile methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate and mentor junior team members
  • High-speed internet over 10 Mbps at home
  • Ability to complete identity verification, background check, and in-person I-9 verification
  • May be subject to drug screening prior to employment
