About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
  • Architect and implement high-performance APIs and microservices
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding best practices
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers
  • Improve the software development lifecycle through automation, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to maintain service availability and reliability
  • Evaluate and integrate tools, frameworks, and technologies
  • Drive the technical vision for projects and contribute to architecture and long-term planning
  • Apply AI-assisted development techniques across requirements analysis, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and operational support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as C#, Java, or Python
  • Understanding of software architecture patterns, including microservices, event-driven/clean architecture, and RESTful API design
  • Experience building and maintaining legacy ASP.NET web applications
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Expertise in SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization
  • Problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues
  • Communication skills for leading technical discussions, presenting to stakeholders, and writing documentation
  • Experience using AI-assisted development platforms such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools
  • All candidates must complete a comprehensive background check and in-person I-9 verification
  • Government-issued photo ID required for identity verification
  • High-speed internet over 10 Mbps at home
  • Final interviews may require onsite attendance
  • AI tools are prohibited during interviews
