About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support customer rollouts of Evolv’s life-saving security products
  • Support product demonstrations and installations
  • Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, repairs, and break fixes on field units
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic tools
  • Document work in service reports and complete work orders and RMAs
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Train customer employees and security staff
  • Lead special event support activities at strategic locations such as sports stadiums and large venues
  • Assist with on-the-job training of new personnel and third-party service providers
  • Attend team meetings and collaborate with teammates, sales executives, customer success managers, operations, engineering, and management
  • Report to the Field Services Manager
  • Travel to customer locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth region, typically 85–95% of working time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Willingness to travel frequently, approximately 85–95% of working time
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to install, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment
  • Proficiency diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues using wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic tools
  • Ability to perform scheduled software maintenance and upgrades
  • Ability to train customer employees and security staff
  • Ability to complete expenses, work orders, and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs)
  • Knowledge of inventory management, invoicing, and scheduling systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with customers, operations, engineering, and management teams
  • Ability to efficiently travel to customer sites across the Dallas-Fort Worth region
  • Must complete Form I-9; Evolv participates in E-Verify for all employees
