About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide global support, operation, and continuous improvement of SAP warehousing solutions, including S/4HANA, EWM, and MM/SRM
  • Shape implementation, support, and development of the SAP Warehouse application used worldwide
  • Support and develop SAP MM/SRM/EWM solutions
  • Translate internal partner requirements into preliminary studies and technical concepts
  • Work in interdisciplinary project teams on warehousing projects, subprojects, and work packages
  • Support daily run operations and ensure smooth business operations
  • Engage with worldwide colleagues and key users to structure and process requests
  • Optimize logistics business processes
  • Travel occasionally to national and international Evonik locations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration with a focus on Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred
  • Good understanding of SAP S/4 Hana and Warehousing Environment
  • Process understanding of logistical workflows
  • Experience with integration touchpoints involving SAP TM, SAP MM, SAP PP, and SAP QM
  • Profound customizing experience in SAP Warehousing
  • Initial ABAP knowledge is desirable
  • Experience in IT service management and ticket resolution
  • Very good English language skills, written and spoken
  • Experience working on Warehousing implementation projects
  • Highly independent working style and strong self-motivation
